My Favorite Sports

Sports are like games that help support and enhance physical body, physical coordination, emotional feeling and mentally alert. Sports are divided into two categories the Amateur Type and the Professional type . One of my favorite sports is Soccer . Soccer is the world’s most popular sport . It originates from England a long time ago . Its Spanish term is called futbol . Soccer has lots of players around the world . One of the famous players in soccer is David Beckham and Ronaldinho. Soccer has lots of rules and tactics to be used during the game. In soccer there are different types of kicks. These kicks are instep kick, back kick, side kick, front kick, and back heel kick. There are also different types of traps that is used to catch the ball. These traps are chest trap, head trap, back heel trap and many more. The most demanding position in soccer is midfielder. There are also different types of positions in soccer. These are forwards or attackers, fullbacks or defenders, midfielder and goalkeeper.
Another sport is Basketball. Basketball is considered our national sport. Almost of the Filipinos play basketball. Everywhere you can find basketball court in barangay, town and provinces. In the Philippines, there is an association of basketball called MBA and international the NBA. In the NBA, my favorite teams are Timber wolves, Lakers, Kings, Spurs, and New Jersey Nets.
Another sport is Badminton. Badminton is most played by girls and boys. They like it because this sport does not require much effort and less energy will be consumed. This sport is also fun because it helps enhance your mental abilities, physical coordination and body movement. This sport also does not require much area because it can also be played indoors. It only requires a smaller area than the basketball court and soccer field.
Another sport I liked is Chess. Chess helps your mind develops to become sharper and you can think fast than others. In this sport body and physical coordination is not needed, only the mind needs in this sport. This sport also does not require big area because anywhere you can play where the place feels you comfortable. This sport also is played by most smart people because they thought that this sport helps their mind to become sharper and you can learn easily and fast.
Another sport is Volleyball. Volleyball is the sport that everyone fits because this sport does not require much effort and mostly teamwork is done. This sport can also be played in all ages because this sport is likely to be fun and exciting because this sport only requires less effort and less energy.

My Ambition in Life

My ambition in life is to be an honorable and heroic soldier someday in the future. Soldiers are like knights that protect us from harm and danger. Being a soldier is tough and difficult because you should accomplish your job as soon as possible. In order to accomplish your job you should be loyal to your work, responsible, trustworthy and hardworking. They woke up late in the evening and often put their lives in danger in order to secure us from danger and harm. Soldiers are assigned in different places in the Philippines according to their job. The Armed Forces of the Philippines or the AFP are divided into jobs. These are Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Military Police and many more. Most of the soldiers are assigned in Mindanao because this place is thought to be the place where the rebels are hiding. These rebels include the Moro Islamic Liberation Front or the MILF, New People’s Army or the NPA and the ABUSAYYAF. These rebels have powerful weapons and are able to made detonation bombs.
The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines is Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. As being the commander-in-chief of the AFP, she can give orders to the soldiers and can be able to hire, promote or discharged officials in the AFP. She can also sent soldiers to other places such as in the Iraq, USA, and Lebanon. She can also impose Martial Law in which the Militaries are in power and the powers to imposed arrest to anyone who are against the government. The soldiers also can impose imprisonment to anyone they are suspected to be rebels. And she can also impose curfew hours to Filipino people all-over the country.
Soldiers are also the one who are involved in wars against other nations in the world. Every war the soldier have always been present because they are the one fighting and putting their lives in danger in order to bring peace and prosperity all-over the world. My father is a soldier, he’s rank is Staff Sergeant or
SSG and he was assigned in the office. He does most of his time there and often went home late. He works on the computer making briefings of the Command and giving a plan to be used by the soldiers in Mindanao.
Soldiers are also respectful. They are respectful towards their generals and whoever has a higher rank than them. They often accomplish their jobs immediately taking it too long to be accomplished. They are also well-disciplined because they are well-trained by their superiors while they were training. They also have weapons such as caliber 45, grenade, armalite, and caliber 39.these guns are always loaded with bullets. My favorite part of being a soldier is to be promoted. Promotion is everyone’s favorite because being promoted shows that you are a good soldier and you are trying your best to help other people who are in need. Soldiers who are promoted are said to be intelligent and a well- disciplined person in a way that he helps other people and how he perform his or her duties as being a soldier.
